Wine and Stout Easter Bun

Bake at 350F for 50 - 55 minutes. test with a skewer or toothpick. if it comes out clean or slightly moist but NOT WET then remove from the oven.

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1 - 1 1/4 tsp Salt

Spice Mixture:
1 1/2 tsp ground Nutmeg
Pinch of ginger powder
1 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Cardamom
Pinch of Ground Mace
1/4 tsp Allspice
Pinch of Ground cloves

About 1 1/4 cup ???????? Red Label Wine
2 1/2 tbsps Unsalted Butter
3/4 cup soft Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Fancy Molasses
2 tsps or more Browning
2 tbsps Cherry Jam

1 tbsp Lemon or Lime juice
1/4 cup Stout
2 1/2 tbsp Canola Oil
2 1/2 tsps Lemon or Orange zest
1 Egg at room temperature
2 1/2 tsps Vanilla

1/2 cup Glace Cherries, chopped
1 cup Raisins that were soaked overnight or longer in Red Label Wine


Cinnamon Simple Syrup:
Simmer till syrupy.
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 cinnamon
